ET Dec. 27, 2018 | 00:53:05One of the most enduring, most controversial and controversial figures in American literary history, former BYU professor Ayesha Pande, is now a literary agent, according to a report from the Wall Street, New York, daily newspaper.
Pande is the author of three books, including the 2016 bestseller, “The Power of Myth.”
She’s also the author and publisher of the popular literary website “Penguin Random House.”
The Wall has not verified Pande’s status as a literary agency.
Pandes biography on Amazon, which lists her as a member of the publishing board of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the University of Utah, does not list her as an agent, the Wall said.
Ayesha’s first book, “Pentagram,” won the Pulitzer Prize in 2006 and was the subject of a 2006 movie starring Christian Bale.
She is a professor of English and director of the BYU Young Women’s Writing Center, a women’s and gender studies program.
