A study by the University of Chicago and the University at Buffalo looked at the literature of different eras in time, using data from more than 1,000 novels published between 1600 and 1900.
The findings suggest that the best times for a work of literature vary widely, ranging from the earliest works to the best of the 20th century.
The study examined the literary periods of the last 50 years, including the works of William Shakespeare, William Faulkner, and Charles Dickens.
While they didn’t look at literary styles, they did use data to look at how a particular literary genre or style defined a writer.
In the case of Dickens, the work of the 19th century writer was considered a periodical, while the 20s writer was deemed a novelist.
The authors looked at each author’s work from a variety of vantage points, including whether the author wrote for a school, newspaper, radio, television, or movie studio.
In total, they examined 5,200 titles from around the world.
The researchers found that while some of the most popular works in literature were published in the last 100 years, they tend to start in the 20 or 30 years after publication, when authors are working at a slower pace and have a lower level of sophistication.
They also found that the first works of the best authors are generally written by writers with a high level of literacy.
“The last two centuries are particularly interesting, because of the proliferation of electronic devices and their potential to create an online, digital, and global marketplace,” said Professor Michael Mearns, lead author of the study.
“We have been able to identify some of these works as the best literary periods in the world, because they are relatively recent, but also because they have a high degree of sophistication and literacy.
The research also found an interesting pattern.
The best literature of the past century has often been about writers with relatively low literacy.
For instance, John Steinbeck, a very good novelist in the 1930s and 1940s, was known to be illiterate.
But in the decades since, the quality of the work has improved.
This is partly because more writers are able to get their work published in a timely fashion.”
This has led to writers like Salman Rushdie, who has achieved such high status, using digital platforms such as Twitter to spread his work.
“One thing that is often overlooked in the literature field is that the most interesting works in recent decades are not written by people who are actually literate.
These are books written by the authors of the next best-selling books,” Professor Mearn said.
“The work of Shakespeare and Faulkners are often very good because they’re writers with the best literacy.
They have very sophisticated readers.
The work of Dickens is very good in that sense.”
So, in the case where there is a high literacy level, there’s a lot of good writing coming out of the writing of the writers who have the best writing skills.
